Eko started his career as a Chef since 2003 with the Grand Hyatt Jakarta, Indonesia. Then he was transferred to Kyiv, Ukraine in 2007 as the pre-opening team of the Hyatt Regency Kyiv until 2013.

After 10 years with Hyatt International he decided to join The Westin Hotel Beijing, China. Suddenly Hyatt International called Eko to rejoin as the opening team for the Hyatt Regency Istanbul, Turkey in 2014. But in 2016 the Hyatt Regency Kyiv wanted him back and after 2 years with them chef decided to open his own restaurant. The name is 17.804 Indonesian Social Kitchen, the first Indonesian restaurant in Ukraine.

17804 - the number of islands in Indonesia. The chef recreates authentic tastes of all the islands.
